For those who still don't have the DVD: The second Futurama Movie "Beast with a Billion Backs" will be on TV tonight at 8PM on Comedy Central.
In addition, 'EZ-52' told me that UK fans might want to switch on their telly next Sunday when Futurama "makes a much anticipated television return on Sunday 26th October at 7.30pm only on Sky1". Not yet exactly sure what they are showing. |

As was noted on our forum "PEEL", the fourth Futurama movie "Into the Wild Green Yonder" is set for a UK release on February 23rd, 2009. Going by the international release policy for the upcoming "Bender's Game", the US release of "Into the Wild Green Yonder" should be around that time, too. |

 As you probably know, November 4th 2008 is a big day for the US - the day that the third Futurama Movie "Bender's Game" is going to be released on DVD and BluRay. For me, November 4th was a few days ago. FOX send me a pre-release screener copy of the next Futurama incarnation so that I could tell you what you are waiting for.

After having moved CGEF to a new server last month, our affiliated Futurama forum PEEL followed suit last weekend. In addition to switching to the new, faster server, the old forum software from the year 2000 ("4 million lines of BASIC") was finally upgraded to something modern. |

The third Futurama Movie "Bender's Game" has been added to amazon's database and is up for preordering at $19.99. It will be released on November 4th, 2008. At the same time, a Blu-Ray version of Bender's Game will be available for $27.95.

 Jon - who back in 2003 rode his bike to the FOX HQ to deliver our 1,400-page petition to resurrect Futurama - managed to get tickets to last week's Comic-Con in San Diego. He went to the Futurama panel on Saturday that was run by Matt Groening & David X. Cohen (among others). His report includes information on where Futurama could go in the future and pictures of the event.

Short update on the Futurama "Beast with a Billion Backs" movie ticket give-away for San Diego: The age limit of 21 has been lifted. That is, you don't have to be 21 to enter. Read more in the according news entry.
