Amy Yasbeck, the widow of John Ritter, is to write a book about her late husband's life.

The actress will write the book for publisher Simon & Schuster. It will be 5 years on Thursday (Sept. 11) since John Ritter died from an undiagnosed aortic dissection, a tear in the internal lining of the heart.

The actress told TV Guide that the foundation she started shortly after Mr. Ritter's death, The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health, is saving lifes.

i love 8 simple rules there were so funny together the whole cast worked very well together i miss it i love the epiosdes with the late john ritter he was so good i cryed at the episodes were his death was brought in
