Channel 4 grabs `Big Bang`
Channel 4, the British broadcaster, has bought the rights to air Kaley Cuoco's new show, The Big Bang Theory.This is the first deal for the station from the LA screenings of the new US shows.
Warner Bros International Television president Jeffrey R Schlesinger said: " Big Bang Theory was one of the most highly sought-after comedies at this year's LA Screenings, and we are excited to be partnering with C4 in the U.K. for the premiere of this funny and insightful mass-appeal series that will play to all demographics."
Channel 4, Britain's fourth largest broadcaster, is availible throughout the U.K. on terrestrial, freeview, cable and satelite along with its multi-channel stations E4, More4 and Film4.
The Big Bang Theory is now set to air in 3 English-speaking markets: the U.S (CBS), Canada (CTV) and the U.K. (Channel 4).
