The first half of a two-hour "Dateline" featuring Ann Curry's interview with Jolie scored a 5.3/11 at 8 p.m. A repeat of "8 Simple Rules," 3.1/6, and "Complete Savages," 2.7/5, gave ABC second for the hour, ahead of FOX's movie "Exit Wounds," 2.8/6. "Joan of Arcadia," 2.7/5, was fourth for CBS. UPN took fifth with the movie "Angel Eyes, " beating an hour of "What I Like About You" on The WB.

8 Simple Rules ranked 74th in this weeks rankings, while the encore episode at 8:30 ranked 80th, 8 Simple Rules was the 17th ABC show on the list. In current rankings 8 Simple Rules placed 97th, just 7 places below already renewed "Hope and Faith", 8 Simple Rules (8:30) was placed 104th, just below the fold.. Read the full story

James Garner dies aged 86 20th July 2014

James Garner, the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning actor best known for his role on the long-running drama series The Rockford Files, has died aged 86. The actor, who had suffered a stroke in 2008, reportedly died of natural causes yesterday at his Los Angeles home. Read the full story
